The subjects she combats and addresses are true troubles that teenagers have to deal with nowadays, I feel that's excellent. Even so, I also truly feel like she encourages damaging stereotypes. Another facet that produced me dislike the book (and each of the other books that I've read by her) is that she grazes over character and location building.
